Eeffects of Functional Electrical Stimulation(FES) on Cervical Spinal Cord Injury Patient`s Tenodesis Grip

Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of functional electrical stimulation(FES) on cervical spinal cord injury patient`s tenodesis grip.

Method: Two cervical spinal cord injury patients were applied for 40 minutes one time per days, three days per week for 5 weeks and to measure hand function, Jebsen hand function test, Box & Block test were conducted.

Results: Hand function was improved after the experiment than before the experiment, according to Jebsen hand function test, Box & Block test results.

Conclusion: This study suggests that functional electrical stimulation in achieving tenodesis grip in spinal cord injury.
